The Counselling Unit at DWC is line-managed by the Vice Principal (Pastoral). Counselling at DWC is here to help students and staff address personal or emotional challenges that may affect them while studying or working in Day Waterman College. The Guidance Counsellor works closely with students to help them realize their academic and personal potential and to assist staff in addressing psychological issues that may affect them in living worthy and productive lives.

 

Counsellor’s Profile

Patience Okhakhu is a Counselling Psychologist. She holds an M.ED Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Guidance and Counseling from University of Ibadan. The interests are in emotional counselling, individual and group counselling, adjustment related concerns, consultation and outreach, management and organization issues.
