Just as we resume recently, we have done it again!
Do you remember the;
COBIS Young Scientist Film Award in 2018 (Special Recognition)
COBIS Young Scientist Film Award in 2019 (KS3 First Runner Up)
COBIS Young Scientist Film Award in 2019 (KS4 Winner)
Now our talented and highly dedicated Key Stage 3 students (Oluwaseyi Osinubi, Gwendolyn Gbadamosi, Valerie Chiege and Oluwatomi Fagbamigbe) who participated in the 2020 COBIS Art Competition came first out of 592 entries from 110 COBIS member schools around the world.
The theme for the @cobisorg 2020 art competition was ‘Today’s action shape tomorrow’s world’. Our students presented a sculptural installation with the title ‘Mission to rescue 258 million out-of-school children’. Congratulations to the students and the team of staff that facilitated this success.
Please see below excerpt from Alisa Sacofsky, Student Engagement and Events Officer For Council of British International Schools (COBIS) @cobisorg “… During this difficult time, we are delighted to be able to share some lovely news with you – your students, Oluwaseyi Osinubi, Gwendolyn Gbadamosi, Valeri Ciege and Oluwatomi Fagbamigbe, are the winners of the Group category.
Please pass on our congratulations!
The judges were very impressed with their artwork. You received the following comments from the judges regarding your entry:
“Great narrative and well made 3D project”
“This artwork encapsulates the theme really well. It is easy to see how the children could have
worked collaboratively on the project. I like the layout of the figures and the characteristics of the
children.”…” #Art #WellRounded #WeAreTheBest #StaySafe #BeResponsible #E-Learning #OnlineSchool #cobis #aisen #boardingschool
